CONTROLS:

WASD - Movement

SPACE - Attack (if not on cooldown)

E - Posses the soul of a fainted enemy

HINTS & SPOILERS:

As the shield monster, you can block the attacks of the ghost with your shield head, if timed properly.

As the ghost, you can escape an incoming flamethrower if there is a target enemy (shield monster) nearby by attacking and thus teleporting behind them, being invisible in the meantime.

As the fire spider monster you can launch yourself from the shields of the shield monsters with your flamethrower.
